THE ORDER OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Order of Achievement is an award bestowed by the General Fraternity of Lambda Chi Alpha. It is presented to honor those brothers who have distinguished themselves by outstanding success in the field of business, industry, the arts, science, or other professions.

THE ORDER OF MERIT
The Order of Merit is an award bestowed by the General Fraternity of Lambda Chi Alpha. The award exemplifies a legacy of service to the Fraternity. Since 1935, Lambda Chi Alpha has recognized unusual, lengthy, and dedicated service — particularly at the local chapter level — with the election of the Order of Merit.

THE CYRIL F. DUKE FLAD AWARD
This award was created in 1970 to honor Duke Flad, who served as the Fraternity’s second chief executive from 1942-68. One outstanding undergraduate from among all student members is selected annually to receive this award.


Elvie Linwood White received this award in 2015.



GRAND HIGH ZETA

The Grand High Zeta is the Board of Directors for Lambda Chi Alpha. There are eleven (11) alumni brothers (nine elected by the General Assembly to serve four-year terms, two selected by the elected Board members to serve two-year terms) and four (4) collegiate brothers selected by the Student Advisory Committee to serve a one-year term that make up the Grand High Zeta. These men are the supreme executive, legislative and judicial body of the INTERNATIONAL fraternity when the General Assembly is not convening.

INTERNATIONAL HOUSEMOTHER OF THE YEAR
This award was given to the most outstanding Housemother (now House Director) at the General Assembly. Although it is no longer an active award, N C State was proud in 1982 when Ruth D. Jones was presented with this Distinguished Award.   Mrs. Jones, a distinguished author, world traveler and Bridge player served as the Housemother for the Chapter from 1964- 1985.
